MDI is a sterile filtration provider with a wide range of both prefiltration and sterile filtration products from laboratory to process scale. They have been manufacturing their own membranes since 1976, have excellent quality, and are extremely competitive with respect to pricing. Their PES membrane offers high throughput at low cost. They offer a comprehensive validation guide for their sterilizing grade filter products which are suitable for GMP manufacturing. MDI has also recently expanded their capabilities to provide custom single use solutions including disposable bags from 100 ml to 1000 L, custom tubing sets, and custom modification of bottles, flasks and carboy systems.
